Where these names came from

Every character below came from the official website update that accompanied Trailer 2 in May 2025 — the same update that brought roughly 70 screenshots and location descriptions. They aren't from leaks or datamining: they're text published by Rockstar itself.

What follows is what was officially described. None of these characters has a confirmed story role beyond those descriptions — who is an ally, who is an antagonist and who survives are things nobody outside Rockstar knows.

Cal Hampton

Described as a friend of Jason's, and characterised by paranoia. He's the kind of character who, in the usual structure of a GTA, works as a contact and a source of jobs for the protagonist — but that's series-pattern reading, not confirmation.

Boobie Ike

Owner of a business empire in Vice City. Characters like this, in the series, tend to anchor a mission line tied to a specific business that's legitimate on the surface.

Dre'Quan Priest

Owner, alongside Boobie Ike, of the music label Only Raw Records, which also has the musical duo Real Dimez (Bae-Luxe and Roxy) on its books. It's the strand most explicitly tied to music culture in the revealed cast — consistent with how much the series has always used radio and music as part of the setting.

Raul Bautista

Described as an experienced bank robber. Given that the central premise involves a heist that goes wrong, he's the supporting-cast name with the most direct connection to the story's hook — though Rockstar has not explicitly tied Raul to that robbery.

Brian Heder

A long-time drug runner in the Leonida Keys and Jason's landlord. That fits with Jason's own description: he was working for traffickers in the Keys before the events of the game.

What you can conclude

Not much, and that's the point. The revealed cast sketches a map of environments — business in Vice City, music, trafficking in the Keys, organised crime — more than a plot. Each character anchors a corner of the state.
